Vampirella's costume

Well the first thing I did noticed, is the while colar around her neck that is white. Why white? to warn people that she means no harm and she is peaceful? or perhaps she is a priestess on Drakulon? We have priests here and they wear a white colar. The exact word i'm sure sure yet but white appears in metaphysics has ''light'' and we all know that the Dracula myth is around blood, blood is considered the true ''Light''.
